東京・小平の照恩寺で開催中の大石一貴の個展「光] でもってすべて見) つくす、音) とどくとも。)」において制作された詩集。同展示で発表された粘土の立体作品に刻まれた、9編の新作詩が収録される。

各詩は、時計やノート、ペットボトル、傘、テレビなどの日用品から構成される9つのアッサンブラージュとなり、粘土の立体、そして版画へと転じていく。繰り返される日常の片隅で、光と音の速度の狭間に立ちすくむ物物たちに寄せて綴られた散文は、本展の大石の作品すベてと対となる存在である。

透明な紙に反転される形で印刷された詩は光に透かすことで裏面から読むことが可能となり、詩が掲載された9つの紙片を組み合わせると、展示室を構成する円環が生まれる。
展示室にある彫刻から転写された詩の文字の版画ピースがランダムに同封される。

Chop the Light Publicationsとoar pressとの初の共同出版。

A poetry collection produced in conjunction with Kazuki Oishi’s solo exhibition “Light] has seen) everything, even if sound) reached.)”, currently held at Shouon-ji Temple in Kodaira, Tokyo. The book includes nine newly written poems that were engraved into the clay sculptural works presented in the exhibition.

Each poem takes the form of one of nine assemblages composed of everyday objects—clocks, notebooks, plastic bottles, umbrellas, televisions, and other familiar items—transforming into clay sculptures and subsequently into prints. Written in dedication to these objects, which stand still at the margins of repetitive daily life, caught between the speeds of light and sound, the prose poems exist as counterparts to all of Oishi’s works in the exhibition.

Printed in reverse on transparent paper, the poems can be read from the reverse side when held up to the light. When the nine printed sheets containing the poems are assembled together, they form a circular structure that echoes the configuration of the exhibition space.

Each copy randomly includes a print piece featuring letters of the poems transferred from the sculptures in the exhibition space.
