第三弾となる本書は、2022年7月から2023年6月まで連載された日原聖子による『内と外』を収録。縫うことや対話を通じて共同の実践を行ってきた筆者が、チェコ滞在から帰国までに綴った内と外の話。存在しなかったはずの境界は、いつの時代も社会や生活の中に忍び込んできた。行き交う言葉や願いを寄せて紡がれた、内省と祈りの軌跡。

oar review” is a series originally published on the website of oar press, a publisher primarily dedicated to producing art books in close collaboration with artists. Texts with each contributor’s own practice and methodology—together with new writings—are now being presented in printed form.
This third volume compiles “in between” by Seiko Hihara, serialized from July 2022 to June 2023, written between her stay in the Czech Republic and her return to Japan.
Hihara has pursued a practice attentive to “communal, act” through sewing and dialogue. Boundaries that ought not to exist have slipped, in every era, into society and daily life. A trail of introspection and prayer, woven from passing words and gathered wishes.
