書き手それぞれの制作や実践とも関わり合いながら執筆された文章が、書き下ろしのテキストも加わって紙の本として改めて発表されます。
第二弾となる本書は、2022年6月から2023年4月まで連載された大石一貴による『空白の味方』を収録。フランスの詩人、フランシス・ポンジュの「物の味方」からタイトルを引用した、叙情的ルポルタージュとして綴られました。
川原や郊外、果ては宇宙までの空白地帯に目を凝らして立ち上げられる、言葉の碑。眼差しの狭間に生じる力学と熱量が空を切り、明けることのない場所へ遠くその飛距離を伸ばしていきます。
